Vancouver Recruiters

Dear HR Managers and Business Owners,

With September's hectic project schedules, increased workloads and tight budgets on top of returning family demands to drive kids to school and sport practices, energy levels can easily drop to a year low.

There is a strong link between the physical, mental and emotional energy levels of leaders in organizations and employee energy levels. However, in a recent survey by Leadership Pulse of over 900 executives, almost all reported their current energy levels as being below their zone of optimal productivity.

This month's article focuses on how to keep employee energy high during this stressful month. On behalf of the People First Team, I wish you a productive Fall to come.

Cheers,

Bracing for the Fall

With September's hectic project schedules, increased workloads and tight budgets on top of returning family demands to drive kids to school and sport practices, energy levels can easily drop to a year low. To avoid this, employers need to be attentive to their own energy levels as well as monitor the energy level at the workplace. By acknowledging the affects of one's own energy level on others and encouraging conversations around the team on energy challenges, leaders can help the team adjust to the increased stress sooner.

"There are so many opportunities in construction industry right now. As a result, searching through classified ads trying to decipher which companies would be worth interviewing with and which would not is difficult and time consuming. People First Solutions' prescreening of these companies and the positions that they offer narrowed the field down and made it a much simpler task."
