Dear HR Managers and Business Owners, Can you smell it? Feel it? It's undeniable. It's September. I can't tell you how many times I've heard (and said myself) "The summer went by way too fast". Why is it we rarely hear anyone say, "Winter is going way too fast…before you know it will be Spring". The truth is Spring 2009 will be here before we know it. And the window of time between now and thanksgiving is often the busiest hiring time of the year. Most organizations still have 2008 goals to be accomplished and projects to be completed. And, they need to get ready for 2009 at the same time. On top of this, talented individuals getting back from summer vacations are actively and passively searching for options - hoping to get settled into a new position before the holidays arrive once again. Decisions need to be made today to take advantage of this very short window of opportunity. So, have you determined your hiring priorities as you head into the Fall season? What open positions are very critical to fill? What vacancies are urgent but not critical? Stuck on these questions? Give us a call and we'd be happy to discuss them before Spring finds its way to BC once again. Cheers,
