TIGER 21’s 325+ Members derive their wealth (which is collectively in excess of $30 billion) from a widely diverse spectrum of enterprises, and include entrepreneurs and top executives from Main Street to Wall Street. Requirements for membership include demonstrated wealth in excess of $10 million.
TIGER 21 focuses on improving investment acumen as well as exploring common issues of wealth preservation, estate planning and family dynamics beyond finance. Founded in 1999, TIGER 21 is headquartered in New York City and has Groups in Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary and Montreal as well as Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Miami, Palm Beach, Washington DC, Dallas, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Atlanta, and Seattle, with new Groups planned for Houston, Denver, Phoenix, San Jose, Puerto Rico and other major cities throughout the US and Canada.
Role:
This position reports to the President of TIGER 21, with a close working relationship with TIGER 21’s Chief of Field Operations.
- The successful candidate will work with local Chairs and TIGER Headquarters (based in New York City) to develop and deliver value that supports high levels of Member retention through extraordinary membership experiences.
- Responsible for prospecting and cultivating new members in partnership with leaders of the peer groups (Chairs).
- Ability to qualify perspective members effectively.
- Initiates conversations and creates immediate rapport by phone or in person.
- Coordinates TIGER 21 promotional events.
- Develops and executes sales strategy.
- Connects daily with a diverse group of individuals.
- Meets or exceeds sales targets.
- Keeps meticulous records as it relates to sales activity.
- Works effectively with social media as a lead generation resource.
- Prioritizes and focuses initiatives on revenue generation activities.
Key Criteria/Requirements:
- University degree, with post-graduate degree an asset.
- 10+ years business development experience in wealth management, insurance sales or professional high-end premium sales and services.
- A proactive, results driven, highly skilled sales professional who achieves revenue goals by building solid long-term relationships.
- Demonstrated success working from a home office.
- A proven track record in customer recruitment and relationship-based sales.
- A well-developed pattern of achievement, competitive skills, energy, motivation, enthusiasm, and integrity.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and work ethic, with a natural, authentic rapport.
- Excellent communicator who is drawn to this opportunity partly because of its unlimited earning potential.
- Strong network of high net worth/ultra high net worth private clients in Western and/or Eastern Canada is an asset. (Being bilingual in Eastern Canada is highly desirable)
- Knowledge of wealth management and challenges of wealth.
- Has the unique ability to be both a team player and work independently.
- Self-motivated and goal oriented, understands the challenges of working from a home office.
- Value based sales skills with the ability to deliver a strong value proposition.
- Ability to think strategically and analytically at a high-level.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Solid understanding of social media and how to leverage for effective lead generation.
- Above average computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience working with CRM systems.
