On behalf of our client, Ocean West Financial we are searching for a VP Sales who will report to the COO and CEO.
Responsibilities:
- Continuously training sales advisor and support staff on presenting, processes, motivating clients, and business development
- Educates sales team by establishing programs/seminars in the areas of new account sales and growth, sales of emerging products and multi-product sales, profitability, improved presentation strategies, competitive strategies, proper use and level of sales support, management of expenses and business/financial issues on contracts
- Leading the sales team including leading sales meetings
- Creating incentives, goals and projections
- Assisting with development of sales and marketing materials
- Contributing to the development of sales scripts and language
- Monitoring and tracking sales progress on an individual
- Assisting in the sales hiring process
- Tracking results and progress use of the company’s CRM system
- Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all company’s products
- Contributing to the continuous quality improvement of the company’s sales process
- Formulate all sales policies, practices and procedures
Requirements:
- A minimum of five years experience in sales and/or the life insurance industry
- A minimum of two years experience as a sales manager
- Preference will be given to professional designations such as CFP, CLU, CA
- Proven ability to motivate and lead the sales team
- Knowledge and experience in lead generation, including cold calling and direct selling
- Knowledge of computers and software use – advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, and intermediate knowledge of other Microsoft applications and Internet
- Understanding of good client service principles and practice
